I do like the game. Unfortunately they give us only 3 random plays to choose from on each down (usually 2 pass plays & 1 run play). There doesn't appear to be a way to save good plays as favorites or to block bad plays from appearing. Most of the time when I lose a game it is because my play selection is terrible to choose from when it matters most. A huge QoL update would be to add a playbook refresh button to get a new set of plays. The PvP mode is fun but only available one day per week.
Awesome, fun, easy to learn. Good graphics and smooth animations. No advertisements and so far not too much pay to win content. This is super fun and easy for me to play compared toMadden Mobile with much more going on at one time on that version. Overall, this is just like the pictures shown for this game, it is not repetitve and add tons of replay value. Accurate teams and great pictures of them included. I would highly reccomend this game to my friends and anyone who is interested in football.
The game is good in general. It is a pay to win game though. If you don't buy players you can't get the top rewards in events. The best way to improve your roster is to pay $10 for the power pass each month. I think that opponents should be no higher than 500 power greater than you. In all of the events, I would make the points rewarded (and deducted in rivals attack)for wining (or losing) based off power level of the opponent. This would make it more balanced. I like everything else.
Fun to play, but aggravating with inconsistency during play. I noticed higher ranked people have super high cards, which tells me they bought the cards. This can be a very expensive game to play if you want to even come close to competing for reward cards during events. Look at it as trading cards... there's commons, and then there's LE (Limited Edition). Seriously, you can buy 1 card that'll cost you $100. But, it is free to play, and you don't need LE's to play, but you'll be tempted.
Great NFL licensed game. Mostly an ultimate team builder with cards. There needs to be a season mode with players of the actual team. Maybe a training camp drills mode against other players. The events are pretty repetitive and get boring. I do enjoy the arctic blast campaign with the snow. Maybe devs can add weather and grass for outdoor stadiums. Maybe stains on uniforms and different uniforms for each team. Overall I really enjoy the game
I love this game, I really do, I think it's better than Madden in some ways. But it's kinda hard to play it when it keeps kicking me out every single time I go into an game. Wether it's an event, or just normal leagues. The game itself is super fun, but I can't play a full game before my game starts to lag, then I get kicked out. I want to rate it 5 stars, but since I can't play it, I just can't.
It's good overall but when it comes to throwing and going against the people in the challenges its paid to win🤷♀️. For one if you have a qb that isn't the best in the game u can't throw deep passes. why would the game give us an option to throw deep passes if 9/10 it won't be no where NEAR my player. The most amount of fun u will have in this game is if you go against someone with 200-400 more points than you. I feel the throwing need to be updated immensely for it to be perfect mobile fb game
Overall, the game is good. I do however have several complaints, which is why I am giving the game the rating I am. 1. For some reason, your blockers on kickoffs run into you and slow you down because they HAVE to occupy the same space on the field as you. 2. After you are tackled, another 2 or 3 opposing players dive at and over you for no reason. If those issues can be addressed, then I can give this game a better rating.
NFL Rivals is a fun 3d football game. I have been playing for a little over a year now and have reached 2,521 power without spending any of my money. It takes a lot of grinding, but you can get there and, after that, consistently get LE players easily, which you can sell for real money (although take the process at your own risk). It's definitely a grindey game and can get repetitive from time to time, but I always come back, overall decent game.
The ultimate pay to be mid game. Also the wait time to get the "fuel" or "energy" or whatever to play again is insane in comparison to how quickly you can finish everything available at any given time. Decent if you're just tryna kill time for a few minutes. Not good when you're super bored and just wanna play some phone games.
Should be able to open packs more often to find new players. Can't just be if we purchase with real money. And they mostly only have one special player. The blue prints are annoying becasue its hard to even get the base player in the first place Let alone being able to upgrade it. But it's overall it a good game fun to play.
I love playing this game, but does it have to take so long to wait on energy to keep playing in any game mode or event. Basically, I can't earn energy without energy. Come up with a way to help with that or a way around it, and this game will be perfect!!! #GREATGAME!!! P.S. I have spent some money on players I needed in order to compete in some stuff, but that'd only get me so far.
It's fun but definitely pay to win. You can advance very easily for free but it will get to a point where spending money is almost a requirement. There are a few good bundles though that are decently affordable and give you good items. Gameplay gets pretty repetitive after some time.
Imagine if you took all of the fun and charm out of Retro Bowl, and replaced it with slow action and microtransactions. That is this game. There are like 8 total plays available, all of the movement is incredibly slow paced, and the rest of the game is based around trying to get to you to buy the in game currencies (yes, plural). This whole game is the bottom of the barrel.
Very fun to play with a variety of challenges. A point comes though where you feel that the only way to progress is to spend substantial money to progress. That seems like it would be a recurring too. That being said it is fun so far but has its pitfalls which usually come down to money. I'm not saying they shouldn't charge money but some of the exclusive features require spending upwards of $300 to access and player packs can cost more than $20 for average player cards at best.
This is a pretty fun Arcade style game similar to Blitz or NFL Xtreme (for my 30+ gamers). The throwing mechanic gets easier. The playcalling is a little too simple. Unlike mobile Madden I can actually use the team of stars that I built from packs (Diggs and Hurts). Tracking the divisions is really fun. I wish they had the actual stadiums and some uniform editing but that's minor for a new game. Rivals has a ton of potential and is at a great starting point. Glad EA lost that license!
I have mixed feelings. I play it a lot, but I do not like the passing system. The fact that your QB is throwing to a zone and not the receiver gets really annoying. The ball can go anywhere in the circle, most of the time not even close to your receiver. Even with a really accurate quarterback, they can look pedestrian. The fact that an elite quarterback struggles to throw the ball accurately 20 yards away is unrealistic and infuriating at times. Tweak the passing system and it would be better!
This game is a lot of fun. I was worried about the controls at first, but after playing a couple minutes it becomes easy to control. The constant tournaments allows for always being able to upgrade your team and earn new players. This also allows for the game to not be boring or repetitive because you are constantly striving to get better players and a better team. I've also been able to build a great team without spending a single dollar. Came from retro bowl and this is a great updated version
Highly enjoyable experience. I personally would recommend trying this game to anybody who enjoys football and/or to those who enjoy games in general. User friendly and easy to learn. Great time killer. However, this game does lean towards pay to play heavily, and progression can at times seem to come to a halt without the purchase of micro transactions. The events keep your sense of achievement high and the thrill to progress, but once again, cater to those who have spent money.
It's a fun, easy game. I've managed to build a team with a rating of 2,211 without spending any real money. I don't like that it was changed to having to spend real money to get blueprints (other than the ones you can get in the arena first time and the monthly challenge) I did however earned an avatar "The Boss" pic that I never received after completing in autumn rush. Other than that it's fun and quick, 1 game takes about 4 minutes to play.
